# What is a fake measurement tool and how are they used in RCT

Another study of the now 38 year old guessed threshold set called SOFA. Yes this is still going in and they are planning SOFA 2.0.

These guessed thresholds are still being used as RCT measurements for entry criteria, independent variable, and endpoint,

Where are the statisticians working with these scientists? Who still thinks these 1990s threshold sets are valid measurements?
