Our department has implemented a customized secure file server with an access role specified for each user for use by Data Monitoring Committees overseeing clinical trials. Members may add comments to the html report. These are linked to section/subsection/subsubsection anchors created by RMarkdown. Comments may be personal or for viewing by the whole committee. This isn’t made public but I hope that an app for wide use will come out of this.
