Hi everyone,
Ive seen a lot of textbooks and online resources mentioned on this forum, but haven’t found any that have a lot of solved examples or solutions to problems. I am a physician, trying to learn probability and statistics, and am looking for such resources. Khan academy has some problems with solutions but not nearly enough to get a thorough understanding.
I am also taking a intro to probability course on Coursera which suggests this book: Chapter 2 Conditional Probability | bookdown-demo.knit which has great explanations but no solutions.
Any help would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you

You could try this book by Grimmett & Stirzaker , which is just exercises and solutions.

Thank you this looks promising.
This is a fairly complete resource with a text, many worked examples, and accompanying recorded lectures.
Stat 110 playlist on YouTube Table of Contents Lecture 1: sample spaces, naive definition of probability, counting, sampling Lecture 2: Bose-Einstein, story proofs, Vandermonde identity, axioms of probability

Other textbooks I found that have a lot of solutions are:
Introduction to Probability and Statistics William Mendenhall
Probability & Statistics for Engineers & Scientists
A FIRST COURSE IN PROBABILITY by S. ROSS
All of them have great explanations as far as I can tell.
