Oscar Leonel Rueda-Ochoa currently works in the Department of Epidemiology, Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam, Netherlands. He is in the fourth year of the Ph.D. program in Cardiovascular Epidemiology. His Ph.D. thesis is about Cardiovascular controversies solved applying contemporary statistical methods. He is working in topics like repeated continuous outcomes in systolic blood pressure, left ventricular diastolic function, electrocardiography, aortic diameters using marginal, mixed and joint models. Propensity score matching, competing risk, SEM, youden index, mediation analysis and causal studies using g formula are other working areas in progress. Genetic risk score, ewas and Mendelian randomization analysis are other important areas of interest.
