Two main questions
1)I’m trying to do a meta analysis of a logarthmic value (decibels), any special considerations? so with the logarithmic value will the tree plot make sense visually, it not the same as an effect size i would normal consider
2)I have a lot of missing SD values and from 84 cohorts even if I do weighted means to get an overall hearing level, im not sure a) the pooled means without SD are meaningful, and b) after contacting authors if i dont hear about medians, IQR or highest and lowest values, that theres anything i can do but exclude those studies…
